Guidelines and Disclaimers
Your safety (and ours) is of paramount importance. Our workshops are intended to be safe, fun, and relaxing events. The following health and safety rules are to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
Disclaimer:
You agree that by taking part in the workshop any injuries after the safety briefing are your own responsibility.
Workshop Guidelines:
1. A safety briefing will start every workshop.
2. Work safely, following the guidance given for working with engraving and cutting tools, printing presses and all equipment being used on the day.
4. Drypoint, mezzotint, and engraving use sharp tools to incise lines in metal plates. Care must be taken with these types of processes to hold and use these tools as instructed.
5. Have fun!
Safety Rules:
Hair must be pulled back when working with equipment and presses.
The hot plate and printing presses need special operating instructions. Only operate the presses and hot plate after instruction and when it is your turn.
Sensible footwear must be worn in the print studios. No open toed shoes.
Always cut away from yourself.
When possible, clamp down plates to avoid slippage.
Do not attempt to use the printing presses without your tutor.
Remain at your designated working area whilst the printing presses are in use unless it is your time to work with the press.
Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable, but rescheduling is acceptable up to 12 days before the workshop, or in emergencies.
We reserve the right to reschedule workshops should the need arise but will endeavour to replace the tutor before considering rescheduling.
